Slough Arts Alive

Slough Arts Alive 2004 took place on the 10 July and involved performances by professional artists, community groups and local schools.

Even though there were short, sharp showers throughout the day it did not dampen spirits as Slough Town Centre filled with comedy, acrobatics, theatre, mime and music.

Zap Arts would like to especially thanks all the schools that took part in the event in thier own town, these being

  • Wexham Court Primary
  • Godolphin Junior School
  • Castleview Combined School
  • Montem County Primary School
  • Langley Grammar Secondary
  • St Josephs R.C. Secondary School

Through Creative Partnerships workshops were organised in these school and the results on the day showed that many of these young people had given a lot to the event and hopefully taken a lot away!

Also many thanks to all the community groups such as Motivations and the Eastern Womens Cultural Society and all the professional artisits that took part in the day.

Thanks to everyone who came along, it was a great success!
